The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) fosters mutual understanding between the U.S. and other nations through educational and cultural exchange. Their programs build cross-cultural skills, promote democratic values, and support community engagement. With a wide range of global initiatives like Fulbright, YES, and PFP, the ECA empowers individuals to drive sustainable change and strengthen international collaboration.

The Professional Fellows Program connects global emerging leaders with U.S. organizations for intensive fellowships focused on governance, innovation, and civic engagement. Fellows spend several weeks in the U.S. with tailored placements in nonprofits, government offices, or businesses.
