Celo Camp is an 8-week virtual accelerator run by Upright in partnership with the Celo Foundation, a leading Web3 ecosystem that builds mobile-first blockchain solutions. Since its launch in 2020, it has empowered over 300 teams from 70+ countries, fostered DeFi, ReFi, NFT, gaming, and financial inclusion innovators, and enabled over $1.5 billion in blockchain transactions by alumni. Upright and Celo Foundation’s mission is to enable decentralized tech entrepreneurs globally to build impactful, open financial systems that promote prosperity for all.
Celo Camp is a fully online 8-week acceleration program that guides founders and developers through every stage: from ideation and MVP building to pitching. It includes a structured weekly curriculum covering Celo basics, UX/UI, building/integration, and pitching your MVP. Over the course, participants work in teams—up to 40 selected out of hundreds—receive tailored mentorship, and showcase their project in a Demo Day attended by investors and ecosystem partners.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to founders, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs at any startup stage—idea-stage to scaling
- Must be building on the Celo blockchain, with focus on DeFi, ReFi, wallets, identity, NFTs, or financial inclusion
- Teams of any nationality may apply; all must commit to the full 8-week virtual program
- English proficiency required for workshops, mentorship, and pitch sessions
Application Process
- Apply online via the “Apply Now” button on the Celo Camp site
- Participate in Pre-Camp: online sessions and potential meetings with program directors (300+ apply; ~60 advance)
- Main Camp: ~40 selected teams join the 8-week cohort

- Participants announced: September 4, 2025
- Camp runs: Sept 8 – Oct 31, 2025
