Fellows are placed in rural districts of Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, or Maharashtra to co-lead systemic change in partnership with local governments. With a generous stipend, hands-on fieldwork, and deep mentorship, this fellowship is ideal for social change agents ready to work on one of India’s most urgent yet neglected issues.

Uninhibited is a Bangalore-based social enterprise focused on eliminating menstrual health taboos and improving access to menstrual hygiene education and resources. Through collaborative programs with local governments and communities, it implements behavior change, infrastructure development, and advocacy initiatives. The organization has impacted over 200,000 menstruators across India and is committed to building systems-level solutions that make menstruation a non-issue in marginalized communities.

The Period Fellowship is a full-time, field-based leadership program where fellows are deployed to selected districts in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, or Maharashtra. Over two years, fellows collaborate with district administration, health workers, educators, and communities to implement large-scale menstrual health initiatives. They work on data collection, capacity-building, gender advocacy, and system strengthening to create long-term, sustainable impact.
