Program Overview!

Want to turn a local problem into a real-world solution — with funding, training, and global mentorship? The MCW Global Young Leaders Fellowship is a year-long leadership program (virtual + 10-day in-person training in the U.S.) that prepares 18–26 year-olds to design and implement community projects in education, health, or economic security. Apply if you want practical project planning experience, travel support for in-person training, and a year of mentorship to launch a community project — ideal for early-career changemakers who speak English and are ready to commit to a year of impact.

MCW Global (Miracle Corners of the World) is an international nonprofit that runs programs to strengthen communities, especially focused on education, health, and economic security. They design leadership and development initiatives — like the Young Leaders Fellowship — to equip young people with practical tools (community mapping, vision planning, mentorship) and institutional partnerships (NYU, Champlain College) to implement community projects. MCW emphasizes original, locally-rooted ideas and sustained mentorship through alumni networks.

The Young Leaders Fellowship mobilizes 18–26 year-olds to identify community needs, participate in a one-month virtual community needs assessment (June 8 – July 3, 2026), attend a 10-day in-person training (July 21–30, 2026) in New York and Burlington, and then spend ten months (July 2026–July 2027) implementing an action plan with support from alumni mentors. The program focuses on projects in education, health, or economic security and stresses authenticity in applicants’ ideas (AI-generated responses discouraged).
