π Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the True Blue Fellowship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age Range: You must be between the ages of 13 and 24. This fellowship is open to young people worldwide, but all applications must be submitted in English.
- Proof of Eligibility: After you submit your application, you may be required to provide proof of your age, identity, or eligibility.
- Individual or Group Applications: You can apply as an individual or as part of a group of any size. If you apply as a group, you’ll need to select one person to be the primary contact.
- Project Criteria: Your project must be new or in the early stages of development (no older than two years) and must use the creative arts as a primary method to enact change. The project should also focus on safeguarding the ocean, waterways, and/or addressing climate change.
- One Application Per Person: Each applicant can only submit one application for the True Blue Fellowship. However, you are still eligible to apply for other Bow Seat programs, such as the Ocean Awareness Contest.

Be sure to follow the guidelines provided on the fellowshipβs official website. The application should detail your project plan, goals, and how you intend to use the funding.
- Review and Feedback: After submission, your application will be reviewed by the Future Blue Youth Council and Bow Seat staff. They may provide feedback or request additional information before making a final decision.
- Selection and Funding: If your project is selected, you’ll receive up to $2,500 USD in funding to bring your idea to life. Youβll also begin your journey with mentorship and capacity-building support from the fellowship team.
